Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 15, 2026

KiVue Insight Center ("KiVue," "we," "us") helps people navigate mental health and medical care. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and the choices you have. We wrote it in plain language on purpose.

What we collect

  • Your email address, when you sign up for the free guide, updates, or an account.
  • Information you choose to enter into our tools, which may include details about your symptoms, appointments, insurance, denials, bills, or providers.
  • Basic technical information your browser sends automatically, such as device type and general location, used to keep the site working and secure.

You decide what to enter. Please share only what you are comfortable sharing, and avoid including information you do not want processed.

How we use it

  • To generate the results, explanations, and documents our tools provide.
  • To send you the free guide and, if you opt in, occasional emails you can unsubscribe from at any time.
  • To save your work to your account, if and when you create one, so tools can remember your information.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the service.

How our tools process your input

Some tools use a third-party artificial intelligence provider to analyze what you enter and produce a result. Your input is transmitted securely to that provider to generate your output. We do not use your information to train AI models, and we do not sell your information to anyone, ever.

Who we share information with

We use trusted service providers to run KiVue, and we share only what is needed for each to do its job. These currently include our email service, our website host, our AI processing provider, and, once accounts and paid features launch, our authentication, database, and payment providers. We never sell your personal information.

How we protect it

We use reputable providers that encrypt data in transit and at rest, restrict access so you can only reach your own records, and keep secret keys out of the public parts of the site. We also practice data minimization: we aim to store as little as possible and to keep only what is useful to you.

Your choices and rights

  • Unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in any message.
  • Request a copy of the information associated with you.
  • Request that we delete your information or, once accounts exist, delete your account and its data.

To make a request, contact us at hello@kivueinsight.com.

Not medical, legal, or insurance advice

KiVue is an educational and self-advocacy tool. It does not provide medical, mental health, legal, or insurance advice, and using it does not create a professional relationship. Always confirm decisions with your own providers and your insurer.

Not a HIPAA-covered service

KiVue is a tool you use for yourself. We are not a healthcare provider, health plan, or health care clearinghouse, and we are not a "covered entity" or "business associate" under HIPAA. We still treat the information you enter with care.

Children

KiVue is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy as KiVue grows. When we make meaningful changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know.
